At Aylmer Skating Centre, we believe learning to skate should be a joyful and rewarding experience. Our programs are designed for all ages and skill levels, from first steps on the ice to mastering advanced figure skating or hockey skills. Whether your child dreams of gliding into figure skating, gaining hockey speed, or simply learning for fun, we have the right program led by certified coaches.

CanSkate is Skate Canada's flagship learn-to-skate program, designed for beginners of all ages 3 and up.
This session is designed for those children who can already skate forwards, backwards and stop.
The PowerSkate program has been designed to focus on the development of 15 basic skill sets.
This program is an introduction to Figure Skating. All skaters must have passed CanSkate Stage 3.
Skaters must be working on 2 or more Star 2 tests, but must not have passed more than 2 Star 5 tests.
Skaters must have passed 2 or more Star 5 tests. Skaters MUST have a private coach at this level.
Skaters MUST be passed all of CanSkate (Level 6) and Skaters MUST have a private coach.

Team-based skating that builds precision, timing, and teamwork in a fun, dynamic environment.
Available for Intermediate Star, Open Star, Star 2-4 and 5+ skaters.
Our enthusiastic and friendly Program Assistants work with the club's PreCanSkate, CanSkate and Intermediate star skaters weekly.
Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada Assessment through a nationally standardized assessment system.
